The Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) is available to authorized users, such as healthcare providers, hospitals, public health agencies, pharmacies, schools, and childcare providers. Pharmacies in Minnesota and MnVFC-enrolled provider locations are required to participate in MIIC.
Healthcare professionals and licensed social workers located outside the state of Minnesota can complete a Non-MIIC Provider Record Request.
DCYF Rule 2 licensed childcares (family childcares) can access MIIC immunization records by submitting a Non-MIIC Provider Record Request for children in their care.
License-exempt (certified) centers can participate in VaxCheck to request parental consent to receive immunization information from MIIC.
Employers can participate in VaxCheck to request consent to receive employee immunization information from MIIC.
