2025 Community Public Water System Fluoridation Equipment Competitive Grant Program

Eligible Applicants:
Any Minnesota community public water supply (PWS) system that adds fluoride to meet the MN state drinking water fluoridation requirements:
- That does not currently provide drinking water with a fluoride concentration of at least 0.5 milligrams per liter (mg/L), Is in need of replacing its existing fluoridation equipment in order to continue providing such a fluoride concentration, or
- needs an ion-selective electrode analysis device in order to adequately monitor fluoride concentrations, is eligible to apply.
Furthermore, a PWS must meet all of the following conditions in order to qualify for a grant:
- The PWS must employ or contract with a properly certified water operator.
- The PWS must not be currently subject to administrative penalty action by MDH for violation of state or federal public water system regulations.
Rural Hospital Planning and Transition Grant Program

Eligible Applicants:
An eligible applicant for this grant program is a non-federal, general acute care hospital in Minnesota that:
- Is located in a rural area, as defined in federal Medicare regulations, or in a community with a population of less than 15,000 according to U.S. Census Bureau statistics, outside the seven-county metropolitan area,
- Has 50 or fewer beds, and
- Is not for profit.
Rural Hospital Capital Improvement Grant Program

Eligible Applicants:
An eligible applicant for this grant program is a non-federal, general acute care hospital in Minnesota that:
