Lights Out! An Incident Response Game
This game was created through capturing COVID-19 response experiences. Starting in 2023, MDH conducted two storytelling projects to gather both topic-specific experiences from Local Public Health (LPH) professionals and general response experiences from MDH staff.
Using qualitative data analysis, staff converted the identified themes into practical capacity-building tools. One of the tools created is a card game to help with incident command structure knowledge, roles, and responsibilities while having fun.
