If you are randomly selected to participate and you receive a PRAMS survey in the mail, please share your story. Your unique experiences are extremely valuable to us. Your answers are important for improving the health of other mothers and babies in Minnesota.

Additionally, American Indian and U.S. born African American mothers experience some of the largest differences, or disparities, in maternal and infant health outcomes. To make sure we have enough stories that represent experiences from diverse groups across the state, we oversample American Indian and African American mothers who make up a smaller share of the population. Learning about your pregnancy and experiences before, during, and shortly after pregnancy can help us improve health practices, program services, and policies that work to keep Minnesota mothers and babies healthy.

To know how to advocate for Minnesota mothers, we need to hear from you. If you receive a survey in the mail, fill it out and send it back to us! We offer a special gift to all mothers who complete and return their survey - a choice of a $20 Visa gift card or a coupon for a $9 discount on a certified Minnesota birth certificate. If you also complete the extra questions at the end of the survey, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.
