Data Exchange Gateway (DEX) Owners

The MDH DEX Owners is an internal application used to manage a resource owner’s resources. Resource owners may change the visibility of resources and change user access to their resources.

What does each resource visibility mean?

Public – resource is available within the MDH DEX Portal application for any data partner to request access.

Hidden – resource is hidden within the MDH DEX Portal application. Hiding a resource does not prevent previous data partners from viewing their application status or integrating with resources they have been granted access too. It only prevents new applications to the resource from data partners.

Internal – resource is hidden within the MDH DEX Portal application unless the data partner’s email address is a @state.mn.us email address.

What does each user status mean?

Pending – The list of users in the top window. The users will have both approve and deny option presented. These are new applicants.

Access Allowed (Approved) – This data partner has access to your resource.

Access Denied (Rejected) – This data partner does not have access to your resource.
