Measles, 2010
Three cases of measles were reported during 2010. All 3 cases were confirmed by positive measles IgM serology. Two cases were white, non-Hispanic male residents of Hennepin County, 20-29 and 30-39 years of age, respectively, with unknown vaccination history. One had traveled to Chicago and the other had traveled to Italy during the exposure period. The third case was a 30-39 year-old female resident of Kuwait visiting Minnesota on business. The individual had traveled to Portugal during her exposure period and her vaccination status was unknown. The 3 cases were unrelated, and no secondary cases were identified.
